This phonecall sounded like what might have happened if I skipped all the Judy sidequests before going on the last mission, or if I had rejected her romantic advances. What I believe happened here is that the game forgot to register my relationship with Judy. Poor writing? Nope, I genuinely believe this is one of CDPR’s bugs coming into play, but at the worst possible moment. After setting up this romance for the last 20 hours, the game literally had my girlfriend breaking up with me in the credits when not five minutes before, she said she couldn’t wait until I got back over the phone. She said she was leaving town and this was goodbye. People from the game you know, Panam and her crew, Johnny’s old bandmate, the cop you did a bunch of investigations with, and so on.īut the first call was from Judy. The credits roll and characters from the game pop up and send you messages. So, when Cyberpunk ends for the Earth ending at least, you see an animation of you heading on a shuttle back home. That was until she broke up with me in the end credits. I figured I’d spend my last six months with someone I loved, Judy. She said she wanted me home back on earth immediately, and couldn’t wait to see me. At the end of the mission, you’re allowed to call those close to you again. She reassured me she’d be waiting for me, and to be careful. You are allowed to call someone close to you before this final mission begins, I called Judy. She gave me a key to her apartment, and told me that she was going to leave town before I came along, but now she had a reason to stay. We did everything from storm a mob-owned doll club to go scuba diving in her flooded hometown together.
